Macy's Modern Slavery Act statement does under the paragraph titled 'Our policy in action' discuss how in spring 2011 they introduced a product that comes from Nepal and India that are certified to be free from child labor produced. "Macy’s introduced a collection of decorative area rugs that have been certified by GoodWeave™, an international organization that works to ensure rugs made by hand in Nepal and India are free of child labor."

but it does not have specific performance indicators for assessing how effective Macy's is at combating slavery and trafficking. It rather discusses Macy's policy in action but not how effective Macy's is at combating slavery and trafficking through the representation of performance indicators.

“Indeed, from 2011-2013, non-compliance with the Vendor Code has resulted in termination of over 70 factories”

pg. 2

“Over the past 3 years, more than 20,000 Macy’s, Inc. employees have received this training each year.”
