According to the 2007 sustainability progress report, in order to enhance the direct communication to workers, the Open Letters were distributed in the first quarter of 2007 and the hotlines went live in the beginning of June 2007. Since then, SEA was contacted by more than 1200 workers. The most common complaints are related to strikes and disputes, unfair dismissal, discrimination, incorrect payment of wages and benefits, harassment and intimidation, excessive overtime, disciplinary practices, food quality and poor workplace conditions (p.22).
