Code of conduct or supplier code includes clauses on slavery and human trafficking (direct/tier 1):

Pg. 1: "AUMA Riester is committed to avoiding and, where necessary, combating all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking both within the company and along the supply chain. We have implemented processes aimed at ensuring that human rights are also respected along the supply chain. These processes include supplier management. Alongside these processes, we take care to ensure appropriate compliance with these principles when selecting, evaluating and deploying our suppliers. For this purpose, a Declaration of Compliance with our suppliers which aims to ensure compliance with the foregoing principles, has to be confirmed and signed by them."

Prohibit use of forced labor (direct/tier 1):

Pg. 1: "We regularly carry out risk analysis as part of a risk management process on which we base corresponding measures including those relating to human trafficking and forced labour. Our present risk analysis is based on geographical origin, the raw materials purchased, the quality of the goods supplied and the nature of the business transaction. AUMA Riester carries out the risk analysis itself."

Suppliers comply with laws and company's policies (direct/tier 1):

Pg. 1: "In order to operate in accordance with our ethical principles and at the same time act as a strong and responsible partner towards our customers, AUMA Riester regularly carries out on-site audits and written surveys of suppliers in order to monitor compliance with our standards and the statutory requirements. The audits are announced at short notice. Based on our risk analysis, we select susceptible suppliers for inspection. Where weak points or violations are discovered during an inspection, the supplier must prepare a plan for corrective measures and remedy all violations within an agreed period."
