services from anti-modern slavery organizations. Specifically, when certain keywords are used in Search, this feature will show hotline

phone numbers, operating hours, and easy-to-use text short codes. The feature is available in 13 countries and 15 languages.5

Combating child trafficking In 2018, Google provided more than 6,000 hours of free consulting services to Thorn through the

Google.org Fellowship program. Google employees leveraged artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve Thorn’s

technology, which is used to identify victims of child sex trafficking. 5
