The World Benchmarking Alliance's Nature Benchmark measures and ranks the world’s most influential companies on their efforts to protect our environment and its biodiversity.

The Nature Benchmark aspires to assess 1000 of the world’s most influential companies stand on their contribution to halt and reverse nature loss. 

A major UN report finds that a million species are on track to be lost forever – many within decades. The Global Biodiversity Framework specifically references the role that the private sector must play to halt and reverse biodiversity loss. Thus, the Nature Benchmark tracks and measures how companies are reducing their negative impacts on nature, and contributing to the protection and restoration of ecosystems, aligned with the goals of the Global Biodiversity Framework.
