GAP have made it clear that 'they will not accept any clothing manufactured with fabrics that were knowingly made from Uzbek cotton.'

This is good from gap however the use of the word 'knowingly' makes me think they still use it, this is because large companies like GAP will just focus on cost effectiveness, trying to ensure they gain the cheapest raw materials, they may choose not to know where its come from in order to recoup the cheapest possible raw materials.
