This Project analyse Thales Corporate Social Responsibility Report, GRI Report, Social Report. It deal with topics as Gender equality, Human Rights, CO2 Emissions, Environment etc.

 For this analysis of a company, we decided to work together for more efficiency and in order to check our results two times. The company we choose is the famous group: Thalès. After having subscribed to the Neoma Business School research group, we started to fill metrics values on different topics.

We added our company in different projects:

❖    PRME Data collection - core metrics for companies - 14 questions

❖    Company Vetting - 8 questions

❖    Gender Equality in the Workplace - 4 questions

❖    Waste & Recycling - 1 questions

❖    etc.

In addition, we create a project named “Thales Corporate Social Responsibility” dealing with different metrics value:

➔    Male Employees: 50,850 in 2013

➔    Female employees: 14,342 in 2013

➔    Employees: 65,192 in 2013 and 62,194in 2014

➔    Total Waste Generated: 15,771tonnesin 2012 and 15,614tonnes in 2014

➔    Total energy consumption within the organization: 166 gj in 2012 and 158 gj in 2014

➔    Environmental fines: 64M in 2017

➔    Total water withdrawals: 1,763m3 in 2010; 1,768m3 in 2012; 1,636M3 in 2014

Some value were not explicit. Therefore we had sometimes to make calculation to find results, for instance in order to find percentage of women management position, we did:

22% of women of 62,194 employees = 13,683 women in 2014

13,683women * 0,64 (% of women in management positions) = 8,757women mana. pos.

8,757/62,194 * 100= 14% of women in management position
