Women make up approximately 36% of our workforce worldwide. The share of women in executive positions within the Group worldwide is currently 19.6%. In Germany, this figure is 19.8%. As compared to the year 2010, the percentage of women in executive positions in 2013 was considerably higher, up by 2.6 percentage points. Our goal is to continue to increase the share of women in executive positions. In the reporting year, we implemented numerous measures as part of our Group-wide project “Women in Management”, launched at the end of 2011. These include a Group-level voluntary commitment to increase the share of women in executive positions and the introduction of a system of key performance indicators to manage our progress.
