The Apparel 100 dataset is a comprehensive collection of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data and supply chain transparency metrics for the world’s 100 largest apparel companies. With a combined market cap of over $1.22 trillion in 2018, these companies represent more than half of the global fashion market, making their transparency and sustainability practices critical.
The 2024 updated dataset includes 41 key metrics, ranging from greenhouse gas emissions and water usage to labor rights and corporate governance. It identifies gaps in disclosure and highlights opportunities for companies to improve their policies and practices.
Compiled in collaboration with Sustainometric researchers, the dataset is designed to inform policymakers, human rights advocates, investors, and sustainability professionals. It aims to drive accountability and promote better practices across the apparel sector.
