MANA is a not-for-profit NGO whom’s goal is to connect civil society with financial institutions via a portal dedicated to investigate companies’ environmental impacts. MANA aggregates information collected from Web and Twitter streams as well as from the most remote places and/or most isolated communities to influence financiers’ perception of environmental risk, providing investors with a mean to translate in-house socially responsible policy into impact investment decisions.

As such, MANA uses investors as leverage to change private corporations behaviors toward the environment; ultimately alleviating their ecological footprint.

MANA was founded by former WWF-France staff members. Under the guidance of a committee of 50 volunteers coming from socially responsible finance, environmental field and digital universe, the team developed, together with freelancers, various algorithms and robots to gather information about environmental impact of private companies.
