The Net Zero Tracker is a global initiative designed to monitor and track commitments by companies, countries, and other entities to reach "net zero" emissions—where the amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) emitted is balanced by an equivalent amount of removals. This initiative collects and analyzes data on the pledges made toward achieving net-zero targets, the progress toward those targets, and the actions taken to achieve them.
This dataset includes detailed information on corporate net-zero commitments, emissions reduction pathways, reliance on carbon offsetting, transparency in reporting, and alignment with recognized climate standards.
