To help employees understand human rights a mandatory training for staff on the Human Rights Policy wasreleased in 2019. Available in 15 languages, the training has a section on forced labour that identifies particularlyvulnerable groups and outlines McDonald’s commitments surrounding ethical recruitment.6

For suppliers, the global SWA programme includes an online training platform where they can access materialsthat provide guidance on preventing modern slavery.7
