During FY2021, these standard controls were strengthened with the implementation of a Supplier Code of Conduct and broadened training to include “on the ground” employees with a focus on identifying modern slavery risks."

Workforce awareness of modern slavery risks is crucial and we recognise the importance of training as

a control in addressing the risk of modern slavery. Our first Modern Slavery Statement specified the

training given to senior employees involved in the engagement of suppliers to ensure these employees

are appropriately informed of the risks and legislative requirements associated with modern slavery and equipped with the knowledge and tools to manage and escalate such risks."
