In the statement it says, "Appropriate investigative and auditing processes commensurate to the scale of the enterprise and risk, are executed as necessary...All suspected cases of modern slavery and human trafficking are requested to be reported to the Head of Procurement". However it is unclear whether this refers to independent reporting or self-reporting.
Wynnstay seems to be in their initial (first) round of self-reported auditing processes that, at the time of the statement, had still been in progress. However, no mention was made of any future monitoring procedures envisioned, e. g. a time interval for regular audits.
