As part of this process, Jurys Inn & Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland, carries out an online search to ensure that an organisation has not been convicted of any offences, including, but not limited to, offences relating to modern slavery whether through human trafficking, slavery, child labour or otherwise.”

“We have previously completed on-site Modern Slavery audits of a selection of our recruitment suppliers and produced a report detailing our findings and recommendations. All suppliers audited were found to be exercising best practice initiatives in all areas of Modern Slavery compliance and in line with their commitment to our Agency Compliance agreement.”

“Audits of our main outsourcing companies have been carried out by our employees, employees of the outsourcing companies and third party auditors. Whilst the opportunity was limited in 2021 due to travel restrictions related to the Covid pandemic, we completed a site visit and employee feedback forum at one of our third party sites. In 2022 we will complete further site visits and audits.”
