As the Statement is only one page there is little specific detail on organisational policies or actions to combat slavery in their supply chain. However there is mention that the business has various policies in their staff handbook in tackling issues such as 'working hours, child labour, forced labour, discrimination, health and safety and so on'. This suggests the possibility of policies in the handbook prohibiting child labour, forced labour, discrimination and respect for labour rights. Although there is an implicit possibility of such policies to combat slavery in their supply chain, it is uncertain whether it is in fact stipulated in the company's Handbook and Code of Conduct.

Further research may need to completed on the company's Handbook and Code of Conduct, which is currently unavailable to the public.

p.1

"The Code of Conduct and Handbooks include our responsibility to apply and follow all applicable local laws and to require any supplier or third party who works with CLC World to comply with similar fundamental principles"

Company does not explicitly say in statement that they prohibit forced labour.
