mandatory policy and a central purchasing system which gives us a very precise

and clear view of our procurement activity. At any one time there are

approximately 4,500 live suppliers in the UK and over a financial year about 1,500

of those suppliers are active in our ecosystems. We ask our suppliers, to accept

and adhere to our Supplier Standards of Conduct. "

The supplier code of conduct contains obligations against child labour, forced labour, labour rights, working hours, and requires suppliers to adhere to company's policies. It is also applicable within the supplier's value chain. Suppliers are required to sign an acknowledgement to this code of conduct.
