In the first paragraph of their statement, Wynnstay states they will "not tolerate business relationships with organisations knowingly involved with such abuse". However, it is unclear whether this translates to cancelling contracts with organizations that are found guilty of such abuses. They go on to emphasize their approach via a case by case basis, stating "All suspected cases of modern slavery and human trafficking are requested to be reported to the Head of Procurement, and any such report will be investigated on a case by case basis, with appropriate remedial action taken immediately". No actual remedial or follow up steps are made mention of.

I have changed this from "Unknown" to a "No" given that no Corrective Action Plan and/or remediation vis-a-vis workers are mentioned. Even though "appropriate remedial action" is referred to generically, the company has not explained any corrective steps regarding its relationship with suppliers or with affected employees.
