2022 | FUJIFILM UK LIMITED | MSA incidents remediation (revised)
In the modern slavery statement, does the company explain one or more of the corrective steps it has taken (or would take) in response to modern slavery incidents in their operations and/or supply chain?
Remediation is mentioned but no details of the process or measures
updated 3 months ago by Aureliane

There is some mention of general processes; however, no specific outline of corrective steps. The mentions include;

"we work with our procurement staff to ensure they act ethically and with integrity in their interactions with our suppliers and to implement and promote this approach in our supply chains", in addition to "In cases where significant risk is identified, Fujifilm Group companies continue to conduct on-site CSR audits using expert teams from Fujifilm Group company production sites."

However, much of the corrective steps are outlined underneath the 'Further Steps' sub-heading on Page 5:

- Roll-out enhanced survey to improve insight of actions taken by suppliers

- Develop greater understanding of modern slavery and its impacts within our teams through defining divisional responsibility and delivering training

- Submit survey to all suppliers before 31 March 2024

- Review processes and feedback from survey roll-out, with a view to implementing enhanced questionnaire for all existing suppliers, after 1 April 2024

- Adoption of the Supplier Guidelines into our own procurement activities once introduced into Europe by the Fujifilm Group
