CEMIG have a relatively low hazardous waste output of 665 tones in (2015) compared to their non-hazardous waste of 47,805 tones (2015). Disposed waste in 2015 amounted to 48,160 tones of safe recycling or regeneration plants. The waste sent to landfill equated to 12 tones (2015).
