With the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development it is of high relevance to track and assess the contributions of business to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This project is a partnership between the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), WikiRate, and the Bertelsmann Stiftung, to engage the next generation of business leaders in supporting and advancing the SDGs by proactively identifying, aggregating, analyzing, and sharing the achievements of companies in support of the SDGs as reported in sustainability and Communication on Progress Reports (COPs).

By analyzing company performance through annual company sustainability reports and COP reports submitted to the UN Global Compact, students will contribute to understanding corporate sustainability and issues of subjectivity, contextualization of data, and comparability.

• GHG emissions

• Risks and opportunities due to climate change

• Air quality

• Water quality

• Sustainable water withdrawals

• Improved water efficiency through application of 5R principles: reduce, reuse, recover, recycle, replenish

• Protection of water-related ecosystems and biodiversity
