Problem uploading source into wikirate

Hello, i've had problems trying to add a source, and seem to always recieve this error:
+FILE: mime unaccepted MIME type: application/octet-stream
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It may work to save the source as a PDF and then upload the pdf.
