With a Wikirate account, you can do things like:

  • Create or join a project or research group.
  • Add or verify answers about companies’ performance.
  • Bookmark useful items for easy access on your profile page.

Create a personal account

Note: If you do not receive a verification email, please check your Spam folder. If any other troubles arise, please contact us.

To sign up for a Wikirate personal account:

  1. Click on the Log in button on the top right corner of the homepage.
  2. Click on Sign Up and enter a username, email address, password, and your stakeholder profile.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Open verification email and click the verification link. (Check Spam folder for verification email, if it does not appear in your inbox).

Create an organizational contributor account

Companies and organizations can also create an organizational contributor account to add or verify data on the platform. 

To sign up for a Wikirate organizational contributor account:

  1. Email us at [email protected] indicating that you would like to set up an organizational contributor account, with proof that you work for the company or organization (e.g. Letter signed by line manager)

  2. Open the verification email and click the verification link.

Reset password 

You can change your password for security reasons or reset it if you forget it.

To Reset Your Password:

  1. Access the Login Page: Start by clicking on the "Log In" link, which can be found at Log In.

  2. Initiate Password Reset: On the Login page, locate and click on the "Forgot password?" option.

  3. Provide Your Email Address: Enter the email address associated with your Wikirate account in the designated field.

  4. Request Password Reset: Click on the "Forgot password" button to initiate the password reset process.

  5. Check Your Email: Shortly after, you will receive a "Reset Password" email in your inbox.

  6. Follow the Instructions: Within the email, you will find specific instructions guiding you through the process of updating your account details.

How to use your profile

Get the most out of your Wikirate account:

Accessing Your Profile and Information:

  1. Locate Your Profile Dropdown: After logging in, direct your attention to the top right corner of any page on the website. There, you'll find a dropdown menu next to your image thumbnail.

  2. Explore Your Profile Tabs: In the right-side panel that appears, you will discover a range of tabs to access specific information and features:

    • Details: Share personal information with the community to enrich your profile.

    • Research Groups: Gain insights into the Research Groups you are actively engaged with.

    • Bookmarking: Access all content you've bookmarked for easy retrieval (learn how to bookmark content below).

    • Contributions: View a comprehensive breakdown of your contributions to Wikirate, categorized by Answers, Metrics, Companies, Projects, Sources, Topics, and Research Groups.

    • Activity: Track your most recent interactions and activities on Wikirate.

    • Account (Profile): Manage your public profile details, including your username, profile picture, email address, and password. Here, you can also update these details as needed.

  • Account. Find and update your account details (username, profile, picture, email, and password).

  • Contributions. Find the total number of data points you have contributed to Wikirate organized by Answers, Metrics, Companies, Projects, Sources, Topics, and Research Groups. 

  • Activity. Find your most recent activities on Wikirate.

Edit your public profile

Your Wikirate profile is publicly visible. Wikirate is an open community designed for all contributions and edits by any user to be visible.

To maintain your privacy, you do not have to use your real name as your Wikirate username.

Your email address and password will never be published.
