This metric covers Sustainable Development Goal 1 of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Goal 1 aims to end poverty in all forms everywhere by 2030. Poverty includes more than the lack of resources to ensure a sustainable livelihood. SDG 1 has made significant strides to ensure access to education and other basic services and to eliminate hunger, malnutrition and social discrimination. Economic growth will provide sustainable jobs and promote equality.
