With "green, development, and sustainability" as its core concepts, BYD officially announced in August 2021 the establishment of China's first zero-carbon campus headquarters for its automotive brand. The construction of BYD's global headquarters zero-carbon campus involves a comprehensive set of green solutions, including photovoltaics, energy storage, new energy vehicles, monorails, and e-buses, applied across various aspects of campus production and life, resulting in a total reduction of 245,681.89 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions. In 2022, with the assistance and support of the internationally recognized testing, inspection, and certification organization SGS, BYD achieved "ISO 14064 certification" and "PAS 2060 carbon neutrality certification," successfully establishing China's first zero-carbon campus headquarters for an automotive brand.
