Due to pandemic situation, DBS made a hybrid workplace model, new workplace behaviours and working patterns were introduced to reinforce the company's culture of inclusion despite remote working. It seems that the issue is no longer about caring the family while working at the same time; but to make sure employees across the organisation remain connected to one another. In the sustainability report 2020, it is also mentioned that DBS ran regular sentiment surveys and large-scale online events, such as learning festivals and virtual hangouts, to tackle the challenge. Unfortunately, there's not enough explanation if the new hybrid workplace model was responded positively by the employees in relation to the family-care issue.
