Where does your donation end up
All donations will benefit the further development of the site, the wagn engine and community building efforts. WikiRate is a registered non-profit in three countries. Note that it doesn't matter much to which of the three entities (German, UK or US) you donate to. If you want to know more please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WikiRate.org was funded initially by a grant from the European Commission through Sep 2016, which grants funds to each of the partners involved in building the platform at wikirate.org. The terms and nature of the grant funding, as well as publicly available reports on progress and other deliverables are available online at http://wikirate.eu. We are happy to say that we were successful to secure another grant from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement no. 687967 for its role in ChainReact as part of the European Commission CAPS initiative, that will secure funding through Dec 2018.
The WikiRate Project relies on donations and grants to stay free and independent, and thus is seeking sponsorships and donations from individuals and others to extend the scope of the project and its sustainability. If you are interested in supporting the project please consider a Donation or contact us at email@example.com.
WikiRate is incorporated in Germany as "gemeinnütziger, eingetragener Verein" under the name "The Wikirate Project e.V.", in the UK as charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) under the name "The Wikirate Project UK" and in the USA as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the name "The Wikirate Project".
