p.69-72: "Wages are a complex issue. In order to
achieve fair living wages for all garment
workers, it is important to understand
the components of a textile worker’s
monthly take-home wage and how they
can be influenced. In general, there are
two components:
The biggest component is minimum
wages which are stipulated by governments
and the lesser component is individual
wage setting and factory benefits.
Combined, these components make up
the take-home wage for garment workers."
H&M has it's self-named "Fair Living Wage Strategy", however it seems that they pay their workers (mainly factory workers) minimum wage, with the potential to earn more if you work more, or learn more skills.
