Is the company committed to paying its own workers a living wage?
No Living Wage Policy

Covestro supports the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In Article 25 of the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it is stated that:

"Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and

well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing

and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security

in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or

other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control."

Cosvestro claimed that " Our wages meet or exceed local market conditions and thus ensure an adequate standard of living for our employees and their families. "

Local market conditions may not meet living wage standards. I have changed the value as I couldn't find any reference to living wage in their sustainability reporting.
