Target setting
Engage collaboratively with suppliers to set
GHG reduction targets for 2025 and 2030 in
alignment with the science and the context of
our business together"
Facebook have not published a target for absolute GHG emissions for 2025, although they mention they're working together.
The Net Zero by 2020 statement is based on purchasing 80,000 tonnes of carbon removal, to match their Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.
After checking against the criteria, I'm changing this to a "no" on setting a target, because if the target is set with suppliers but not shared, then it's very difficult to have a discussion in a public forum about it.
