Specific comment; At no point in the Norse Groups 'Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement' does it make any reference to the geographical locations of where its suppliers are operating and located. The simple reason for this could be that if it does highlight a specific county, and the political position of that country is unstable, it will make the company far more likely to be inspected. all of which makes the managing director who signed it significantly more likely to be prosecuted.
in terms of specific naming of suppliers the 'S.H.T. statement' does provide a list of some of the suppliers in there supply chain. This does give the possibility that independent research could be done into where these companies in the supply chain operate. the companies listed in there supply chain are as follows:
- "Agency Staff"
-"Specialist Contractors"
-"PPE and workwear'
-"Food"
-"Building Products"
-"Specialist Equipment"
-"Cleaning Products"
-"ICT Hardware"
-"Office Equipment and Furniture"
-"Stationery, books, publications, periodicals"
-"Vehicals"
