This is evident as firstly in the statement it says that they do not have any direct contacts with countries or sectors that are regarded as being most likely to be involved with modern slavery and human trafficking. Additionally, they also state that materials to build homes are sourced from suppliers who comply with the Code of Conduct and they require their suppliers to exploit a zero hour tolerance towards exploitation as well as be aware of modern slavery and report back any issues regarding it. Furthermore they pay their workers nothing less than a living wage.
