"There are significant mineral deposits in certain areas affected by conflict, particularly in Africa, leading to widespread concern that the electronics industry’s constant demand for those raw materials has the effect of fuelling conflict and entrenching further the corruption and risk of poor labour conditions, including forced labour, endemic to those countries.
