Water discharge values were provided. Waste water is treated and discharged after which it can be reused.

p.50. The value was calculated by subtracting water discharge amounts from consumption values; the assumption being that the difference must be close to the amount of water recycled for use in the business.

Water Recycled = Water Consumed - Water Discharged

= 4487565 m3 - 3287912 m3 = 1199653 m3

There were two out of the five areas of the business that were reported in water consumption but not discharge values. The consumption values of these two areas were significantly smaller than the rest and so the results should not be impacted significantly.
