It's difficult to tell what the 1.3 million tonnes accounts for and whether it is part of the 1.5 million or in addition to : "Outokumpu uses 1.3 million tonnes of by-products, mainly slag, directly. The total amount of non-hazardous wastes are further 1.5 million tonnes. Hazardous waste generated by the Group’s operations in 2015 totaled 127,009 tonnes. Hazardous waste consisting of oily waste, acid regeneration and hydroxide sludge generated by the Group’s operations in 2015 totaled 66,202 tonnes."
