Sustainability & ESG Reporting assesses how a company measures, verifies and publicly discloses information about its environmental, social and governance performance, impacts and targets. It covers:
- selection of reporting frameworks and standards (e.g., GRI, SASB/ISSB IFRS S1-S2, EU ESRS, TCFD, CDP, UN GC-COP) and the material-topic determination process that defines report content;
- data-collection systems, consolidation methods, internal controls and third-party assurance that underpin the reliability and comparability of metrics;
- integration of financial and ESG information in annual, integrated or standalone sustainability reports, plus machine-readable filings (XBRL) where mandated;
- disclosure of forward-looking commitments (science-based climate targets, nature-positive goals, diversity objectives) and progress against those targets;
- governance of the reporting process - board oversight, executive responsibility, stakeholder engagement and continuous-improvement mechanisms - to ensure transparency, accountability and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
