Social evaluates how a company respects and supports the rights, health, well‑being and development of people - in its workforce, supply chain, customers and host communities. It encompasses:
- fair labour practices and human‑rights due diligence (child/forced labour, freedom of association, wages, working hours);
- occupational health, safety and psychosocial well‑being (OHS systems, incident management, emergency preparedness);
- diversity, equity and inclusion (representation, pay equity, accessibility, anti‑discrimination);
- community and consumer engagement (grievance mechanisms, social investment, product safety, fair marketing);
- education, training and capacity‑building for employees and external stakeholders, with transparent reporting under GRI 401–418 and ESRS S1–S4.
