Recycled Products looks at how a company designs, manufactures, certifies and markets goods whose primary feedstock is post-consumer or post-industrial recycled material. It covers:
- design rules that maximise recycled content while maintaining quality and safety (e.g., mono-material construction, additive limits);
- verified claims and digital product passports (DPPs) that disclose recycled content to customers and regulators;
- take-back, refurbishment and remanufacturing schemes that return products or components to the production cycle;
- third-party certification (e.g., ISO 14021 Type II claims, SCS Recycled Content Standard) and chain-of-custody or mass-balance accounting.
