"In order to best facilitate the individual's opportunities for whistleblowing, in addition to internal whistleblowing, the bank has entered into an agreement with an external third party that can receive and process reports. This is to provide additional security regarding anonymity and impartiality.

Sparebanken Vest did not receive any internal or external notifications in 2022 or in the first half of 2023, and the risk of breaches of sound work processes and human rights is considered low.

In addition to internal and external whistleblowing channels, it is possible for employees register deviations related to health, safety and the environment that they encounter in their everyday work. The bank has discovered that there has not been sufficient awareness of this process among the bank's employees, and work was therefore started in 2022 to update the process for registering such deviations.

The registration form is simplified, made available on the bank's intranet and communicated to all employees. Training will be prepared and implemented on which cases should be reported via this channel, so that the bank can ensure that potential risks and actual deviations are captured."
