While the company does have a grievance mechanism to facilitate whistle-blowing, it does not pertain to suspected incidents of slavery or trafficking AND is only available to direct employees. The grievances that employees can report include a numerical descending order as such; "Accounting, Internal accounting controls, Auditing matters, Fight against bribery, Banking- and financial crime, and Other serious improprieties concerning the company’s or the group’s vital interests or the life or health of individual persons, as for instance serious environmental crimes, major deficiencies as regards the security at the place of work and very serious forms of discrimination or harassments." (Page 1)All grievances can reported to someone of authority or through an email ( whistleblowing@hm.com) This mechanism completely lacks any grievance mechanism on the issues of slavery or human trafficking.
The company has just mentioned grievance mechanisms not explicitly any channels to raise concern.
