Waitrose has almost 1,400 final packing and production sites supplying products to our shops. Of these sites, just under 20% are operating in countries that we have assessed as being high risk for human rights.... they are required to share independent ethical audits with Waitrose as part of our due diligence process. Remediation plans in case investigation finds issues "can involve corrective actions, temporary suspension of supply, collaborative programmes to drive improvements and follow-up monitoring."
