“When audited, a factory in China supplying our Partnership had a number of visible non-conformances in Health and Safety, but there were also more hidden issues such as the auditor being unable to verify the working hours between production records and time records. This could have been an indicator that working hours were excessive and it also meant that it was not possible to verify that the correct wages were being paid.”
