Corporate Accountability Index
The 2017 Ranking Digital Rights Corporate Accountability Index evaluates 22 of the world’s most powerful telecommunications, internet, and mobile companies on their public commitments and disclosed policies affecting users’ freedom of expression and privacy. As a note: the 2017 ranking is based on a revised methodology made up of 35 indicators, making the scores from 2015 not easily comparable.
The 2015 Ranking Digital Rights Corporate Accountability Index evaluates 16 Internet and telecommunications companies using 31 indicators.
Companies' total score consists of the accumulated scores they received across all indicators in the categories 'Commitment', 'Freedom of Expression' and 'Privacy'
