All these precedent citations suggest that the company does have a mechanism to ensure that small-scale suppliers and/or distributors are paid a fair price for goods, services, and/or crops supplied to the company. Those mechanism must be cited in their ethical code of conduct (relationships with external parties, suppliers, and competitors) and their responsible procurement and responsible purchasing programs.
