"Yes, Sustainability in sourcing is enforced through the Environmental and Social Policy & Procedures (ESPP) of POWERGRID which

extends to Suppliers/Contractors/Vendors through contract conditions. Vendors/ Suppliers/Contractors are required to comply with

ESPP, Labour laws, Environmental laws & effectual Safety plans through stipulations in the Conditions of Contract. Contracts provide

penalties to be imposed on the Vendors/ suppliers / contractors in the event of breach of the said provisions."
