1. On page 22 of the report, it is mentioned that all the suppliers/vendors, have to sign a formal agreement with CIL, which states that they have to abide by different labour laws including payment of wage act 1936, minimum wages act 1948, the child labour (prohibition and regulation act) 1986 and others

2. On page 47-48, it is mentioned that they promote local suppliers.

3. Page 33 outlines how thay interact with the vendors and suppliers through stakeholder engagement process

4. On page 58, it is mentioned that they have eco friendly mode of transportation for the movement of coal and other practices for reducing pollution and emissions.

5. Although on page 102, the data for the percentage of suppliers screened using environmental criteria is not available.

6. On page 50, it is mentioned that for extraction and supply of coal to power plants, they have signed an MoU with NEERI, which will submit an environmental Management Plan for Mitigation of environmental impacts of mining
