It is committed to the elimination of all PFCs, which due to be completed by the end of 2015 and is working on developing alternatives.
On elimination, it has investigated the use of APEOs from its supply chain facilities and further enforced its APEO ban; it has credible commitments on eliminating PFCs and other hazardous substances via usage bans and now needs to ensure lower detection limits that would lead to its complete elimination. It has not yet published case studies demonstrating the substitution of hazardous chemicals with safer alternatives.
