Fishing with Mobile nets is an initiative by Qualcomm to bring wireless infrastructure and smart devices to "promote the economic and social development of traditional fishermen, women and youth in 13 vulnerable fishing villages in Colombia". The project aims to help by using smart devices to train participants in fishing techniques, help them gain info about their environment, and be able to promote and sell their fish.
