Reduction of energy consumption, GRI 302-4 (formerly G4-EN6)
In relation to the previous year, how much has the company reduced its energy consumption as a direct result of conservation and efficiency initiatives?
1. On page 53 of the report, it is mentioned that energy consumption reduced from 4971.13 Million kwh (2015-2016) to 4886.83 Million kwh (2016-17).
2. Hence computing, the reduction in energy consumption is equal to 84.294 Million kwh
3. Now 1 Gigajoule=277.8 kwh
4. Therefore converting 84.294 Milion kwh we get 303458.4 Gigajoules
