@Alex H Did you add the date on source page?
It appears the source date has been added: (http://wikirate.org/inscape_Global_Reporting_Initiative_Index_In_accordance_with_Core_Nov_2015) but I think I only added the title, not the date. I just tried it again here: (http://wikirate.org/Inscape%20Corporation?view=new_metric_value&metric[]=Global_Reporting_Initiative%2BEnvironmental_non_monetary_sanctions_G4_EN29_a&main=Inscape+Corporation) and it automatically adds the date as 2015 and whilst the report was published then the data is from 2014. Should I just remove the date from the source?
Thanks for the report.
So, there are multiple issues here:
1. The "year" on the source is intended to be the year to which the data applies, NOT the publication date. We will add some help text to make that clearer.
2. Nonetheless, we don't want to automatically override anything you've done, so we're now implementing a change that will recognize a conflict between the value year and the source year and prompt you to choose the one you want.
Coming soon!
this should be fixed now (you'll actually see a little prompt whenever there is a conflict between the value year and the source year; you'll be asked to decide which year to keep)
